There's not a plethora of details behind this one just yet, but it looks like plans to bring a hint of Chocolate (or least serve up a candybar) to the market with the KG208. Apparently a rather low-end handset, the device does manage to sport a 1.3-megapixel camera, MP3 / WMA / AAC music playback, 64MB of internal memory, microSD slot, and a 160 x 128 resolution TFT screen.

Aside from that, we're pretty much in the dark, but we don't suspect that this one will carry a large pricetag when it purportedly lands later this month.

For folks looking for a sweet new clamshell on Verizon, the choice between the and the so-called Chocolate flip -- the -- is a tough one.

After all, they're both glossy, music-oriented pieces with touch sensitive external controls; heck, even the similarity is a rather striking one. So how's a consumer to decide? LAPTOP Magazine recently decided to take a crack at the VX8600, coming away with a rather glowing review of the phone.

Of course, Verizon's consistent (and sometimes maligned) UI experience levels the playing field significantly, but LAPTOP was pleased with the acceptable call quality, 1.3 megapixel cam's performance, the external controls, the loud (only slightly distorted) external speaker and A2DP support. In fact, they go on to sum it up by saying that "this is now our favorite V Cast phone.

" Of course, we're guessing there's a Moto fan or two just itching to respond in kind, but it sounds like anyone looking to pick up the Chocolatiest of clamshells won't come away disappointed.

While LG's assortment is with feature-packed additions at an alarming rate, there looks to be a WinMo-powered sugar daddy headed down the pike with ready to rock.

We knew Samsung and LG were using this year's ITU Telecom World conference as a launching for a few snazzy announcements, but today brings about the unveiling of a Windows Mobile 5-packin' smartphone boasting LG's Chocolate touch, built-in WiMax, a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen, two-megapixel camera, microSD slot, and Bluetooth. The phone will reportedly also support CDMA and EV-DO, and should be released in real soon -- unfortunately, there's "no word" on whether this beauty will ever see the light of day on American soil, but one can hope.

LG's just got a little sweeter, with the recent addition of HSDPA to that fantastic flip phone. The U830, its new designation, is loaded up with all sorts of other tasty treats, including 185MB of storage, a 2 megapixel shooter, stereo Bluetooth, three hours of talk time, 300 hours of standby time, and a music player (with 3.

5mm headphones included!) -- all of this is pretty much what we'd seen a few months ago. It'll first exclusively hit Hutchinson's 3 network in the UK, but we've got no further information as to when (or if) it'll be crossing the pond.

As if that and LG Chocolate wasn't enough, Verizon just released red (no, not ) and green versions of the venerable slider in hopes of stoking a bit of yule in our Grinchy hearts. No surprises here since these to drop since last month.

Same specs we've seen, and yours for the usual $129.99 after on-line discount and 2-year commitment -- which should be enough time to convince everyone of their "Cherry" and "Mint" coloring.

[Thanks, Tyler A.
